Jean-Jacques Ngandu is a sport, event and travel photographer based in Ottawa, Canada. Jean-Jacques focus is documenting sport events, weddings, or travel journeys. He pride himself on capturing the emotions, reactions and memorable moments.
He believes that the only way to make a good photograph is to photograph what you love and care about. Therefore he finds himself often photographing his community, basketball events, cultural weddings and the motherland, Africa.
Jean-Jacques has travelled to numerous African countries including; Rwanda, DRC, Burundi, Chad and South Africa, and has captured a tons of breathtaking images, either at basketball events and/or sceneries across those countries. He has also worked with multiple sports teams in his home town in Canada, from colleges/ university teams, to community sport programs. He has a ton of experience in the field.
He had his conceptual work published in magazines, his basketball photographs on numerous sports team websites and social medias. His actions photographs for La Cite College varsity teams are currently exposed on their own wall in the gym’s entrance. Jean-Jacques also has some of his landscape photographs framed and hung in lodges in DRC.
